Product Description Fender's Blackface cosmetic treatment (skirted knobs; silver grille cloth) makes these amps look as good as they sound! The 15-Watt Frontman 15G features dual selectable channels (normal and drive), auxilliary input for CD, Media Player, or drum machine use, a headphone jack and separate controls for treble, mid, bass, volume, gain and drive. | Customer Reviews: Good product for the price and size. July 22, 2010 L. Roche (US) This Amp is good for a beginner. Bought it for my son, he likes it.
1/5 for a professional, 3/5 for a casual player, 5/5 for a beginner. June 9, 2010 VoodooHendrix 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Firstly, go [...] there for many reviews.
This amp is a good amp, depending on who you are. If you are a professional or a great player, ignore this amp. Buy a tube amp or something.
If you are a casual player, it will certainly 'work' but you will probably be desiring more. I have had it for 2 years and I have grown out of it.
As a beginner, this amp is perfect. It has enough tone controls for you to experiment, and a headphone jack can make sure you dont distrub your neighbors. The drive button is a little pointless once you start to figure things out, but its fun to play with as a beginner.
So if you are a beginner and this fits your price range, I would recommend it. Its a very good at-home amp, but it isn't quite loud enough for playing with friends. You can play loud enough to hear your guitar well at 'home practice' levels.
