| Customer Reviews: Excellent product, great sound April 5, 2010 Jason 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this combo to practice on and it sounds awesome. I couldn't be happier. If you're like me and you like the sound of a Hartke system and you're looking for something a little smaller or less expensive than a 4x10 cabinet to play on then this is the perfect combo for you.
The overall purchase experience was great too.
This is a litttle MONSTER! August 9, 2010 Bill Board (God's Wrath, Ohio) I grew up playing, and kept on playing my bass thru a Fender Bassman 10 amp till sometime in the vile mid-eighties. For reasons that are not relevant here, it ain't around anymore; so when I began to think about playing ernestly again, I...asked around. I got the answer from ON HIGH, and bought myself a Kickback 12. Oh man....first gig, last Saturday night, and I was sick....but when I plugged into this baby and the guitar player began "Key To The Highway," I knew that I had done something right. Granted, we weren't playing Madison Sq Garden, but for "where," and "for whom" we were performing...honestly, I couldn't crank my Kickback up past "3" or "4" - maybe "5" at the most intense - without hearing "it's too loud!" Well...tough apples: depending on how you twiddle the knobs on this this, you can sound like Bill Wyman, Duck Dunn, Stanley Clarke, Victor Wooten, or...even...Jaco if you're half that good (I ain't). The Hartke Kickback 12 Amp: this is the last amp, I believe, that I'll ever buy...Thank You, Larry Hartke!
